I couldn't stop thinking of him as hitting all the princess clichées.
He's a sickly, young prince with flowing long hair forbidden to venture out on his own.
Does that make Sam the knight in shining armor? :3
She would probably like the idea...he not so much.
Anyway, had me thinking of Rapunzel and that had me thinking of people staring out of a window wistfully.
I know, I'm weird...-_-
And yes, my subconciousness just wanted to draw him with open hair.

Eh, who am I kidding! I LOVE this stuff! Haha! Prince Phantom! *faints* So sad and serious. What is it about a sober Prince that makes them look so regal??? *blinks* No idea! But he does! And with his hair down! Epp! I am not a big fan of guys with long hair, but for some reason I love regal Prince's with long hair. Don't know why, but it looks awesome!!
DANNY LOOKS AWESOME!!! His eyes!!!! I said it before and I will say it again, SAM YOU ARE ONE LUCKY GIRL! AHH! His eyes are SO beautiful. I am a sucker for eyes. In real life, too. When it comes to looks, I like guys with gorgeous eyes! 
I noticed that you drew him in a grayer light in this one. Not sure if it's to highlight the overall gloomy atmosphere in this picture... It works, because it really brings out both his eyes and symbol. It looks very nice.
The only thing is that the crystal in his hand came out too small. I almost missed it. I had to zoom up to notice he had it at all. The Pink would have been a nice touch to the darker grey of the picture.
It is why I appreciate that background. The purple drapes and the bright green atmosphere of the ghost world outside looks wonderful. I love the contrast with the brightness outside and the darkness surrounding Danny. It really brings out how Danny is feeling in this picture. It's just simply breathtaking.
I also like the simplier clothing. Although he looks awesome all dressed up in regal clothing, I also like to see him more natural. It also shows how Danny is alone in his room with no one to 'act' as the Ghost Prince for, and he's being himself for once. It must be hard for him. His core and heart wants to lead him in one direction he doesn't understand, but in his mind he knows he has responsibilities to uphold. *sighs in sympathy* Heh. Now, you're making me all sad! lol!
Oh my God... You're right. Danny does fit the 'Disney Princess profile', and now I feel like I want to be sick... It's official. Disney has warped my mind without me realizing it. *cries in horror* NO! Get out of my head, you evil mouse! GAH!!! Sorry, I work... worked for Disney, and they brainwash their employers so badly, and I told myself I'd never end up talking about 'magic' and 'the mouse', but it's happen! My subconcious has wrote Danny with some similarity to the Disney Princess... *scowls* Well, our Prince Phantom is no damsel in distress, and he'll be proving that in the coming chapters. He refuses to be a helpless Prince! Even if he enjoys staring out of windows longingly with his hair flowing in the wind...

Yes I used more gray in this picture because it fit the mood better. Well, that and I have to admit my colouring and drawing style changes all the time. Basically every picture is slightly different. My original style wich I also use for my sketches is pretty much manga-ish but lately my drawing turn out semi-realistic? Dunno why...
And yeah I should have made the amulet bigger. I never noticed how small it was because I drew on a bigger format^^°

Oh gosh! I know how it feels! I killed my laptop once... in the middle of writing a chapter. I was very upset. Lost lots of other documents, too. And when you can't remember your passwords you saved.... Bad.
But glad you are back in the cyber world! I am still loving this picture. When I need some inspiration for gloomy Danny I come back to it! Heheh!

The worst thing was that my Uni essay got erased with it three hours before deadline. I spazzed out so badly at that.

Oh! I feel your pain! My computer one time went crazy on me while I was just about finished with a super long essay for college. Lost the whole thing at night, and it was due the next day. I think I cried that day. It's aweful. But since then I try to save everything on both my computer and a seperate pen drive. It's really all you can do. Sadly, technology is realiable for being UN-reliable.
