Thanks man. Vue is a great piece of saftware, albeit a bit costly. There are personal learning editions you can download for free to try out, no time limits but you are restricted I think in image size and images carry the vue logo as a watermark. worth a look though

yeah right now im doing maya and zbrush, and trying to find something that does good water effects that doesnt kill render time
