I think most artists are never satisfied with their own art. That certainly goes for me. I am flattered you value my opinion so I tell you what I like and dislike about this drawing. The thing that disturbed me the most is her left hand. To me it looks like she's missing parts of her fingers. I think the composition would have been stronger if her face was turned a bit more. The last thing that disturbed me a bit is the background. For me it is does not blend with the foreground (I hope you understand what I mean). What I do like is the use of light on the body. That goes for most of your drawings. I know how hard it is to follow the curves of the human body and I really admire the way you make your drawings come to life.

With the hand… What I was attempting is that she had her finger hooked on the heel of her boot. Straight fingers would have seemed purposeless, however, I think I should've chosen a completely different position for the arm which would've avoided the issue…
The background was added as an afterthought when I thought the one it had was too plane.
I have to disagree about face/head. If she had been facing more toward the viewer… She would've been looking away from the bat which would have been incongruent. If anything she should of been facing away from the viewer. I compromised with the profile, head leaning against the implied windowsill.
regardless… Thank you for taking the time to view my artwork and even more for the constructive comments. I do value your opinion.
