i actually did not like to dye his clothes, i was so anxious about it, lol. I did once dye it black and it just remained that way throughout the story.

Use a smoke bomb, Ezio! Or just use a vial of medicine and counter-attack repeatedly. Either one works...unless one of 'em has a pole-arm. Then I'd go for the smoke bomb. :]
