I got this idea in the swimming pool during my vacation and I turned it into this comic in 10 seconds flat (actually 2 days, but that's fast for me)No complicated reference this time, just Rainbow Dash being awesome...
And of course Derpy! Can you believe it? Nothing went wrong this time!

I love the way you did Rainbow, and you get the idea that she is a very competitive pony.
The sonic rain-boom shows the impact that the big splash has on the pool.

Vision: Once again, we get a reminder that Rainbow Dash is a fairly competitive young mare who, if you'll forgive the pun, likes to make a splash where ever she goes.
Originality: The Sonic Rainsplash is a fairly humorous extension of all of the other Sonic Rain-something-or-other manoeuvers we've seen over the last few months.
Technique: The silhouette of Derpy in the last panel sells the whole thing a lot better than a close-up of her would have. We can imagine her having any facial expression we want instead of being tied down to something.
Impact: Aside from the crater at the bottom of the pool, the main source of impact is how funny this is. Sure, somepony is going to be feeling that for the next few days but Pegasi are fairly resilient.

To all the commenters saying Derpy died, I don't think she did. Rainbow Dash survived getting slammed through the floor whilst trying to hold up a heavy part of the broken Town Hall Derpy accidentally destroyed.
