It's a redesigned old stone coal mine shaft, and has been designed by Luigi Colani.
Into the "Ufo" inside is a panorama viewing business lounge, from which you
have a 360° view to Lünen.
The black Cube in front left has been built in 2008, and is being in use as
office building.

An interesting image, a little stark, but in a good wway.
I am amused though by what looks like a face in the top right hand corner, looking to blow the tower down like it was a candle on a birthday cake.
