Look if you're trying to be helpful, you could be at least not be a whiny douchebag/nitpicker about it. Yes I know the quality isn't good, but that doesn't mean you can bitch about it. I'm sorry but the way your comment sound reminded me of those people who rave about how bad the design of the new sonic games look.

I find it funny that you consider criticising the quality of photos - on an art site - to be "nitpicking".
And yes, yes I can bitch about it. About anything in fact. In the same way that you have the freedom to submit anything onto the site, I then have the same liberty to say what I like about it. I really have no idea what Sonic has to do with any of this, I just personally cannot understand why anyone would submit a photo where the subject is so vague. I mean, those cards of yours were so blurry that they could have been ones you made yourself!

I know it's called an art site but the quality of the artwork doesn't really matter to me. I mean who gives a fuck if it looks good or if it looks bad or if it's blurry? I know you're entitled to an opinion, and who's to say you're not? It's just...you know, don't shoot the messenger.
And besides...you could be looking at something a LOT worse, I mean you could be looking at poorly lit nude shots of some chick that you don't know. And hey...I have only a digital camera of the Fujifilm brand, not one of those fancy schmansy looking normal non-digital ones that cost thousands of dollars or something like that.

Quality of work is really only half the issue here. You could probably get away with a poor photo of something interesting, or with a good photo of something with little merit. But (with your card collection) we have the worst of both worlds, as it's not an inherently artistic subject. Which is not to say that it could not be shown as one - I've seen great pictures of piles of comics before now
The "poorly lit nude chick" example you cite would probably be preferable to see, as there would perhaps be some genuine artistic intention behind it. Your card collection would just be better suited to a dedicated blog or image sharing site.
And you don't need a better camera to take better snaps, just treat the one you have better. Having proper lighting is the most important thing - as in daylight. No cameras perform at their best in a dim room
