wooohooo I made it before the next day 10:40 mmhm B)
my new tablet pen came in the mail and through my stupidity instead of doing things that were most important i decided hey im gonna draw owlstrike and fireflight!
while drawing this, of course my pen pressure went bunk, but thank gosh it was after I finished the main two kitties ^^, so that's why the bg looks all pixelly. also,, at first Fireflight's eyes were open but they looked really.. weird.. and I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I just decided to make them closed. my deciding how to do owlstrike's markings took the longest out of everything I BET but i think it was worth it<3

donkeyhooves : Looking at the rosy sky made Fireflight feel warm, even in the cold of leafbare. He was here, sitting next to Owlstrike, when he made a sure realization. He loved this cat. He really loved this cat. Fireflight stared up at the sky for a few moments, cheeks reddening, not from embarrassment this time. He slowly turned his head to Owlstrike, feeling hesitant but serious. "Hey, Owlstrike?" He began. "Can I tell you something?" He asked, eyes sparkling as he gazed into the she-cat's.

Neon-Sprite : Owlstrike's head swiveled to look into Fireflight's eyes. "Yes, of course," she mewed, studying his facial features. His face was reddening slightly, and his eyes sparkled, from what, Owlstrike wasn't sure. She searched his expression for any clues of what he was about to say, curious and excited and nervous at the same time. "You can tell me anything,"

donkey: Fireflight took a small gulp and his eyes darted around before speaking. He saw that all the camp had been flushed in a pink tint. "Well.." He began, heart racing. "I.. I think I love you." He murmured softly, taking a few heartbeats for him to look back into her eyes. He finally looked back, his eyes shining, revealing feelings of compassion, but also fear. His heart was slamming against his chest, waiting for the she-cat to respond.

neon: Owlstrike took in a sharp breath- she definitely hadn't been expecting that. As soon as he said it though, she realized that she returned his feelings. "I-I..." she paused to regain her breath, "I think I l-love you too..." She didn't even try to stop her legs from shaking; she slowly regained her senses and leaned forward to lick his cheek. "No, I know I love you..." she murmured, her face tinting pink only the slightest bit.

donkey: Fireflight felt a warm sensation fill his body and he felt like jumping for joy. "Really?" He asked after she licked his cheek. "I'm so glad!" He purred loudly, nuzzling his head into her shoulder. He was overjoyed! He brought his head back up, face beaming. "I'm so so glad.." He murmured to the she-cat. "Owlstrike.." He meowed trailing off, then licking her cheek in return.

neon: Owlstrike broke into a grin as wide as her face could handle. "Yes, of course!" Her heartbeat slowed slightly as she leaned forward and rested her head on his shoulder. She felt like she could stay there forever, right in Fireflight's grasp. "Yes..?" She murmured. She wasn't sure what else he had to say, but it couldn't be better than what he had already said.

donkey: "Thank you.." He purred into the she-cat's fur as he ducked his muzzle onto her head. He licked the top of her head and kept on smiling, for it was impossible for him to stop. He gazed back up at the beautiful sunset that lit their world. "Wow.." He breathed, at the experience he had just lived and the beauty above.

Fireflight belongs to me, Owlstrike belongs to Neon-Sprite , cats in the background belong to nobody cause they're random!
