Description
This was the most difficult tribal-animal I`ve done so far.I randomly chose a chipmunk because I wanted to try something new, and thought it would fit well on pink paper. It was hard to look at the reference photo, which I used mainly for the markings ( [link] ) and at the same time decide which parts should be coloured black later and which parts I would let stay uncoloured.
Oh, and that`s supposed to be hazelnuts what it`s eating.

I think the markings and everything turned out perfectly, even if there wasn`t "chipmunk" written in the title, it would certainly be the animal that would first pop into my head
though, the hazelnuts remind me of olives lol
and I`m not a person to tell people what to draw, but I just have to ask XD-have you ever considered doing an ostrich? :3

Chipmonks WOULD be hard, come to think of it. LOL. But you executed this one so nicely! He (or she) looks perfect.... and adorable! (loves chipmonks) I just love your tribal pieces. I think the pink background looks nice, too. ^^

I greatly enjoyed the chipmunk and agree that the black and uncolored portions are evenly balanced, which I understand is a bit difficult to do when trying something like this. Personally I think it's very cute and can see this on a tee-shirt, such as some one previously suggested. Cool. Keep up the good work.

In my mind Chipmunks are decidedly more superior to Squirrels. I love the way you designed the fur markings. You balanced out the filled in spaces perfectly.
