I'll be paintin' this, see?If Popple doesn't appear in the next M&L game... Maybe, there's something like a Jailbreak and the Bros go around like bounty hunters, 'cleaning up the streets'. Who knows, just let him be in it!
I've been wanting to use something other than Flash for a long while. So when I grabbed Sai and liked the feel of it, this appeared.

You know, if I turned the page in the Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga Walkthrough guide, I wouldn't be surprised to find art as nice as this. Amazing work of course. : ) It looks perfectly on-model.

Awesome work! I actually really like that idea of a jailbreak - it'd give Nintendo a chance to revive some of the old enemies that have long gone unused, such as Tatanga, or Wart. Gotta love the Mario & Luigi games for there inventiveness

This looks really awesome! Good job on emulating the coloring style X3 I love that style
I found out (by accident while coloring something) that you can somewhat easily emulate the colorstyle in open Canvas 1.1!
I'll see if I can do it again, but it looked a LOT like the M&L style in my opinion.

I was pretty much just playing a bit with the watercolor tool to see how the shadings would look, forgot that the watercolor tool there smears colors slightly, and instead of a second layer of shadows I dragged some white into the color. Wanted to see how it would look if it was done on purpose and done properly and like I said, it looked alot like M&L style.
Also, you should try out oC 1.1. It's pretty simple, but very fun to use as soon as you figured out how to work with something that has ONLY multiply layers!
