Woah! Nice punk hair this wolf has. I wonder if this wolf has a spunky personality. :/ Ooh! And the black streaks under his eyes reminds of how baseball players would put black streaks under their eyes to protect themselves from the sun's glare. ^_^ Nice! And the galaxy floor too! Thought it was snow. :/

Here is a list of things you need to improve on:

- The perspective is kinda weird. The front half of the body looks fine. But the other half looks like it's twisted or something. It just doesn't fit the bird's eye view perspective. :/

- It's raining heavily but the paws don't look like it's being covered in water from the rain.

- The art is very detailed and textured well but what is this piece about? Could you make this clearer? Is it symbolism or something abstract?

thank you so much for the critique c: it's so nice of you to take the time out of your day to help me improve, and i really appreciate it (the galaxy floor was supposed to look like water that was just reflecting the galaxy, my bad, i should've made that clearer i guess haha) 
yeah i agree, the perspective was really challenging and i just gave up in the end tbh, if you have any suggestions to improve it though i'd love to hear them because it's one of those things that you just know is wrong but don't know how to fix it for me lmao 
you're right, the fur should be a lot wetter, thank you for pointing that out! 
its not about anything really i just had this picture in my head and i thought it'd look pretty haha

Oh, I was confused about what the piece represents. I mean all pieces have something that it's meant to represent even if is just made for fun. Sorry if it was confusing for you. Vision was part of the critique ratings. I thought I should mention it.

Now this I like. Its got a wolf with swag hair, its got rain, and its GOT PURPLE WITH STARS IN IT!! Okay, okay, I'll be serious now. I just love the detail of the ripples in the water around the wolf character. Nice reflection of the sky he's looking up at, it gives a sense that we as viewers are seeing what he's seeing without having to be him. So good job there. The fur is nicely textured and looks close to actual fur in a sense.
Alright now the criticism. Although you did do the reflection of the sky, you could have added a light reflection of the wolf as well- (unless he's a vampire wolf)- rather just use shadow. The fur on the wolf doesn't seem wet but that part is subjective, depending on how long he's been under the rain. thank you so much for the critique, i really appreciate it <3 thank you for the compliments on this piece, you're very kind! and yeah, my logic at the time was the light source was directly overhead so the wolf would probably cast a shadow rather than reflect off the water, but looking back i agree with you that a reflection would have been better. i agree with all of your suggestions, thank you for pointing all of that out to me, it's so nice of you to take the time out of your day to help me improve and i really appreciate it

This is great! I love the detail in the ripples. However, with the amount of raindrops, you need some more ripples. I really like the colors of the space. The wolf is also good. My only question is why does it have blue hair? Is it for a character? Even so, it's super cute! The patterns on the face is really good. The fur is very realistic. The shading is also pretty impressive. It was a pleasure critiquing this for you, and I hope to see more of your work in the future. Nice job and keep up the good work!

Okay I just want to start off by saying this is amazing! The style is great, the background is good, and I mean only good, I'll get to that later though. Wolves are my favorite animal, and so I like this quite a bit simply because its a wolf. What I don't like is its hair, its not original, everyone does it and I think it to be personally just plain silly, same with the earings, I hate them both. Also I wish you had added a bit more detail to the background, it looks like he is just standing on water, I don't know if that's what you were going for or not, if not then my bad, but I don't think you did, so I wish you had added some grass, or something more than just water. Also his paws should be bigger, wolves have big paws almost the size of a grown male human's hand, that is giant for a canine. I know its from above so they need to look smaller though, maybe I'm being too harsh, if I am I'm sorry but its what I feel about it. Also the markings make him look kind of like a raccoon. Or a dog, wolves don't have markings like that. I'm criticizing from a realistic point of view though, from an artist pot of view its great, I'd say its original but so many people do this I don't really think it is anymore. In conclusion your an amazing artist with mad skill, I'm just not a fan of you is all. I know this critique won't stop you from doing what you want and I'm glad, we don't need everything to be realistic in art, or completely original, just cause I think it should be that way doesn't mean iust has to.

i respect your opinion, hair and earrings aren't everyone's taste and that's fine c: i didn't even design this character though but personally i think the person who did did a great job! but, to each his own. c: thanks for the feedback. 
i was actually trying to make it look like she is just standing on water, so i'm glad it comes across that way c: i'm sorry it's not to your taste though. 
now that you point it out, i agree, the paws should be a bit bigger. thank you so much for that suggestion, i'll do my best to keep that in mind for next time! and you're right, i really should try to be more original. i've been focusing so much on improving my technical skills, but it's important to remember that the choice of subject matter is important too.

I really like this! I like the transition from color to color and the perspective on it! The ripples, as most people have already said but I am going to say it again look great! Just some quick critique, the fur on the end of the tail looks a little weird compared to the rest of the fur, I would have it carry on to the end. The left side of the face also looks cut off from the rest of it in an odd way. Other than those two things, the art looks magnificent and I love the colors on it! Great job!
