yeah, it's not very original at all sadly D: for the most part i just copied the reference picture, because i was focusing more on technical than conceptual skill, but i do definitely need to work on making more original pieces 
you're right, a lot of people have said that the feet are what give it away, but you're the first person who said why! looking at them again, you're totally right, i think the feet would definitely benefit from some more texture and contrast.

This is absolutely stunning. The amount of detail in the chickadee's chest is incredible. I adore the colors your used as well. Why, Why you no proud of this?? QnQ
And for the important stuff.
Vision: This definitely looks great at first glance, almost photo-realistic. And when you actually look at it and zoom in, it's just gorgeous. I almost want to see this as a poster or on a calender of some sort, just so I can hang it on my wall. //And I don't even like posters or calenders, huhu
Originality: Well when it comes to originality and photo-realism, it's hard to get something that looks original. Mainly because it all just comes off as unoriginal. But I actually think this is pretty original. uvu I love the blue'er tones you used compared to the original. And I don't know if it's just my laptop, but the original photo is a little blurry, so it seems you did a lot just from your head. c:
Technique: Oh geez, technique, I adore your technique. Always have. I'm not one to use individual lines to create a drawing, I do NOT have the patience, I'm more of a painting person. I respect your technique for art because it really pays off in the end. Also, I really like the thicker brush you used on the face, it adds a fluffy look. And the eyes and beak look so close to perfect.
Impact: I'm never sure what impact means, so, Imma just say... this is one of those inspiring images. One that makes me feel like I should 'step up my game' because I'm always adding a line-art because I'm afraid to step out of the box. So this definitely makes me want to break from my shell. x3 Thank you for that~ <3
This is an overall gorgeous piece, and I think you should really be proud of it.
