With Sailor Yveltal in tow, and Team Flare obliterated, I made my way outside the base. Before I could make it to the door, I felt a huge surge of energy, knocking me to my feet. Sailor Yveltal rushed to my aid.

“Are you alright, master?” she asked.

“Someone else is here. I can feel it. Does Kalos have more than one legendary?”

“Yes. My counterpart Xerneas should be here. Team Flare mentioned using it to restore the landscape after they used me to destroy it.”

“We need to find her then!”

We went back in the base and began searching. It turns out there is a secret room in the very back where Sailor Yveltal was freed. Breaking down that door revealed another legendary Sailor Senshi. This one had the power to bring life, whereas Yveltal had the power to destroy. Her name was Sailor Xerneas. I cut her free from the machine she was hooked to.

“Where am I?” she asked.

“You’re in Team Flare’s base. Yveltal and I were on our way out, when I felt your energy.”

“Were the two of you successful at getting rid of them?”

“Yes. Would you like to travel with us?”

Sailor Xerneas placed her hand on my shoulder. “You possess the heart of a brave warrior, and you carry the scent of other Pokemon Senshi with you. I’d be happy to be a part of your team. But there is another like us that awaits a champion. Yveltal and I will take you to her.”

The three of us left Team Flare’s base.
Xerneas is currently the only Fairy type legendary, and it's great the Fairy type gets a legendary to call their own in their debut. It even gets the Fairy Aura ability, which powers up Fairy type moves. It also has a signature move called Geomancy, which enhances Special and Speed stats by two stages on the next turn. Combine that with a Power Herb, and unleash hell!

What kind of weapon do you give a Pokemon Senshi based on life? Well, it would probably be a weapon that heals, which are only useful if you fighting zombies (since they are hurt by recovery spells for some reason) or your teammates. Since Yveltal got the Deathbringer, I figured Xerneas should get a weapon that is sometimes considered its counterpart: The Lightbringer. This is a very powerful sword, especially in Final Fantasy 6. It always lands critical hits, never misses, long range, and sometimes blasts enemies with Holy.
She bears the colors of the Pokemon she's based on, though from official art since I have the Y version, where Xereas does not exist. A friend of mine traded our version mascots, but we traded them back. We only needed the other one for filling the Pokedex. I am planning to get the X version at a later date. Her hair decorations are based on Xerneas' antlers. I wanted her to also wear stiletto boots to represent Xerneas' sword-like hooves. She's holding an energy orb, which is actually the Fairy move Moonblast.

Attacks:

Geomancy: Sailor Xerneas focuses her aura on herself and charges up. After a few seconds, her body will start glowing pink. This raises her magical strength, resistance, and agility all at once.

Moonblast: Punishes enemies in the name of…whoops wrong description. Sailor Xerneas draws power from the moon and blasts her target with the resulting energy. It occasionally lowers the opponent’s magic power.
