well hey there, I'm here to critique. Take note that my critiques are meant to be objective and by no means offensive. alright? lets roll

to start with, I absolutely adore this, it's full of energy, creativity, and just really a delight to look at. the theme with the title is done perfectly in the piece with the border and breaking beyond it with the wave. the shading really follows the light source really well, and loving how the yellow ish is used for the highlights.

the fingers on the characters seem a bit too pointy in parts, particularly the pink shirt girl's right hand that's down on the shark.

the horns blend in with the hair on both characters a bit much, and I didn't even notice them for a while. the style of highlighting the hair seems a bit odd and off, hair is highlighted and shaded differently than most other parts, shade it to show the nature of hair a bit more as a bunch of strands clumped together, not as a whole solid object. basically add a bit more of the zig zag ish higlighting and coloring instead

the folds on the clothes are following the flow of the bodies rather well, and love how the shades compliment them, this is a lot harder than it seems to do right, and you did it spot on

I really like the technique you used for the background, and while the lineless style may clash visually with the thick black outline style of the sharik/characters/etc, I think this works toward your advantage actually in this piece giving the theme and breaking beyond, and you wanted the foreground and details upground to visually clash for the theme here, so it's good here. just note that this won't always work visually.

there's a single dot way out in the distance in the upper right, and it's visually a big distractor. I get it's from the waves and all, but it's too far off from the rest of the form, and just stands out too much.

something important to note is the nature of gills. gills on sharks need to be in front of the fins, not behind them. remember they're for breathing, and a fin in front of them would block there source of breathing. I know this has fantasy elements and it doesn't have to follow reality really, but it's just something worth noting.

I realize these aren't your characters, but those red cheek designs on the girl standing up are really very visually conflicting with everything else that's mostly blue hues or low vibrant colors like pink.

really love how the teeth seem to glisten with a metallic like shine, and the expressions are full of emotion.

to sum up, really fabulous job here, and I could only really find nit picky points for critiquing on this. this was really a joy to see and rather brightened my mood just by seeing it, and I think that's a great quality to show in art, to be able to depict such emotions and energy to your audience with just the art. lovely job

That is awesome!

The colors, the shading, and the work you did on the waves are all very well done. But I particularly like how you did the sunlight reflecting of the sharks skin the most. Subtle, but very effective.

Tres joli la coloration, cest sa qui donne toute la vie a ton dessin. les expressions des personnages (et du requin) sont tellement joyeux, leur enthousiasme en est contagieux Cest surtout la vague qui m'impressionne le plus. super dessin~ je suis jalouse ^-^ et sans parler de l'ombrage! sa donne vraiment l'effet 3D au nez de requin o0o incroyable!

Tu as fait tout les petits détails de chacun d'entre eux <3 Passant par leur yeux, les 4 doigt griffu, leur antennes, même les clochettes!
