Description Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo y Calderón (or popularly known as Frida Kahlo) has always been an inspiration.. a Mexican artist who unintentionally combined surrealism, realism, and symbolism in her art, she just painted what she felt and what she saw [as the quote says in my signature: "I paint my own realities"].. she had a rebellious spirit and lived through so much pain and hardship..

Here is my experiment .. an ode to Frida..

PS.. can you spot her monkey? I used a few symbols she used in her own paintings..

Es totalmente increíble este trabajo... la verdad está muy bueno y además muy original no sólo por la idea sino que con esa técnica se ve demasiado bien.

Woah! Me encanta Frida Kahlo!! Mi pintora favorita! Y tu tributo a esta excelente artista está genial Los colores me gustaron mucho!
Y los símbolos: Diego, el mono, sus ojos... y el hecho de que esté simétrico y que haya dos de todo es como que un espejo entre la realidad y lo que Frida veía... Felicidades!

Yup! Most of muh digi art is made on Photoshop, but I also use Fireworks..
