Description If you get the reference in Demonicus' name, you have my approval. He's an OC of mine based off of the thorny devil in Godzilla: The Series. He's also the final enemy of Godzilla: No More Lies, and far more deadly than Vladimir. He has the same roar as the Carcharodontosaurus from Dinosaur Planet. That said, let's finally finish Godzilla: No More Lies, as I'm eager to get on with the other movies of the KCU!

MONARCH files:
Demonicus by Ishiro Serizawa
MONARCH had lost much of its government funding during 1998 due to a heavy decline in Kaiju sightings. With this lack of funds, the organisation was on the verge of bankruptcy. However, during the January of 1999, a new Kaiju was sighted in the Nevada desert conveniently near MONARCH's Area 51 facility. Area 51 had been used by MONARCH since 1955 to store mysterious objects, but the facility was soon given an extension to contain the new Kaiju. Named Demonicus by a Marvel geek in the naming personnel, the thorny devil had been mutated from an extreme dose of radiation. This new Kaiju, and two more that appeared in 1999 and 2000 and were also imprisoned in Area 51, saved MONARCH and allowed us to once again access funding. Demonicus was, by far, the most dangerous of the Area 51 Kaiju. The creature seemed perpetually angry, attacking anything that moved and constantly smashing his head against the wall of his enclosure. Demonicus was the largest of the mutations, measuring a whopping 216.408 metres in length. Demonicus could rear up on his hind legs to make himself half that size tall, though even that is the same size as Godzilla. The giant reptile was covered in razor-sharp spikes which he could use to shred anyone who touched him. Like non-mutant thorny devils, Demonicus could spray blood at his enemies from glands underneath his eyes. He killed the most people in the Area 51 Catastrophe, killing hundreds of MONARCH employees, fairly thick-headed teenagers who for some reason thought it was a good idea to drive out into the Nevada desert and citizens of Las Vegas and Tokyo. Demonicus ultimately met his end at Godzilla's claws in Tokyo.

Continuation of the Area 51 Catastrophe by Ishiro Serizawa
Godzilla's first action when faced with Demonicus was to punch him in the face. Unfortunately, Demonicus' spikes easily shredded Godzilla's hand, leaving behind just a single finger. What occurred next was a brutal "fight" between the two, Demonicus leaving gash marks all over Godzilla's chest, waist and legs and at one point using his tail to chop off Godzilla's arm, the same arm which Demonicus had destroyed the hand of. Soon, Godzilla lay on the ground, Demonicus standing over him. But before the giant reptile could deliver the killing blow, Vladimir flew off behind it. A shiny piece of metal stuck to Vladimir's talons entranced Demonicus, who lumbered after the giant bat before burrowing under ground after him. Godzilla then got up. His arm was slowly regenerating back thanks to his Regenerator G1 and he was still just as determined to kill the mutants. Godzilla swam after them, all the while his arm regenerating and his brain planning a strategy to defeat his enemies once and for all. After 14 hours, Vladimir made landfall in Tokyo. A few seconds later, Demonicus lunged out of the ground to devour him, only for Vladimir to sonic blast the mutant thorny devil in the face, stunning him just long enough to get away. A few hours later, Godzilla emerged from the sea, bringing a small tidal wave with him that caused Tokyo bay to be covered in ankle-deep water. By this point, the mutants had destroyed much of Tokyo. Entire buildings had been shredded, roads torn up and crushed and skyscraper spires had deep gashes from claws within them. As Godzilla made his way into the city, Vladimir circled him above like some kind of gigantic vulture. Godzilla looked up, saw the hideous creature about to make his move, and slashed his arm, causing a small patch of blood to appear. Vladimir hissed in delight and shot down like a rocket, gripping onto Godzilla's arm with his claws and greedily lapping up the blood. The Monster King then struck fast and fierce, punching a hole through Vladimir's right wing. Grabbing onto the giant bat's wing through the newly created hole, Godzilla smashed the monstrous creature onto the ground. Whilst Vladimir screamed in pain, Godzilla pulled on his wing and eventually ripped it clean off, tossing it away soon afterwards. As Vladimir attempted to crawl to safety, bleeding and whimpering in pain, Godzilla slowly made his way towards his enemy like some kind of horror movie monster. You could see the fear and pain on Vladimir's face as Godzilla finally grabbed hold of the bat Kaiju's vertebrae. The Monster King then lifted his unfortunate enemy up and grabbed onto his head, twisting it around until he had brutally snapped Vladimir's neck. Tossing the corpse aside, Godzilla started searching for Demonicus. The almost demonic creature was soon found in the heart of Tokyo, smashing buildings and devouring humans in one gulp. He turned to face Godzilla and hissed in anger. The giant thorny devil roared in an attempt to look threatening and charged at the Monster King. As Demonicus charged towards him, Godzilla's plates began to glow. They began to glow bright blue, almost lighting up the night as they shone more and more fiercely. The glow then travelled up Godzilla's throat and into his mouth, smoke billowing out of his nostrils. And then, finally, Godzilla opened his mouth as he stared down at Demonicus, who was now at Godzilla's feet. A stream of blue atomic fire burst from Godzilla's mouth, smashing into Demonicus' face and cracking his skull. Demonicus desperately clawed his way towards Godzilla, screeching in pain and anger, but to no avail. The beast was slowly pushed towards a building, his skull smashed and his body alight with blue atomic flames. Demonicus finally collided with the building after about a quarter of a minute struggling, leaving his body, now just a charred, broken skeleton, embedded within it. Godzilla roared in victory before lumbering back to the sea, leaving the rest of Tokyo intact.
Godzilla was heralded as the saviour of Tokyo for weeks after, with everyone from Tokyo's civilian population to the Japanese Prime Minister declaring him as a hero. The people of Las Vegas were less thankful, but still saw Godzilla as a hero non the less. Reconstruction of Tokyo and Las Vegas took many months, but in the end both cities were made functional in less time than predicted. Godzilla no longer slumbered beneath the Earth, instead swimming through the oceans, occasionally stopping off at an island to rest before venturing back into the sea. The Monster King was surprisingly welcoming to MONARCH scientists, and even let them climb on him to study the many symbiotes and parasites that inhabited his body. However, the event did have consequences. MONARCH and Kaiju were revealed to the world, and now we had to spill some of our secrets. Thankfully, not all of them are now in the public eye. Area 51 was shut down and the mutant plants contained there were left to die. All the mysterious objects were transported to the MONARCH base of operations in Fukuoka and took almost as long as the reconstruction of Tokyo and Las Vegas to find safe places to contain within the facility. But things could have gone much worse. Indeed, we are lucky that Godzilla does not hold a grudge for the events of 1954, as it would have been disastrous if he had still not forgiven humanity...
