Laughs, as I was posting these I got caught up in the "mist" theme with my titles. My thought was this history reflected in the lifespans of those giants now resting along the shore.

Much like the Rosetta stone. I once read where they found a tree to tie in all the trees used in the building of many ancient American dwellings. Now they have an accurate way to date many of them.

Did you feel like you were the first person to ever set foot on that beach?
I feel that kind of feeling all the time when I'm hiking around here... and then I see a Budweiser can, or a cigarette butt, and it ALMOST ruins it...
And, isn't it weird (and cool) how some beaches collect driftwood, and others don't?
