Description GRAPHIC MATERIAL of scenes from World War II that include death.

I am not the photographer. These were my late Father’s and they are now my property thus I have the right to do as I please with them.

These are a reflection of a moment in time, part of history. Events that occurred and can not be changed. The titles and captions are those that were originally documented against the photo and I have used them verbatim.

I post photo’s here for me, not for others. If these are not for you, then simply don’t review them. It’s like your television, simply choose another channel.

My apologies in advance if I offended anyone before they had the opportunity to choose another channel.
--------------------------------------------------------------
War comes to Germany’s Cities.
This is what happens to many German towns before they fall into allied hands and one of the big problems of the advance is rebuild them partially while they are still under enemy fire. Photo shows patrols in a ruined street in what was once Calcar, captured by the first Canadian Army, after bitter fighting. 8-3-45

Thank you for sharing as my mother was a child while this war was happening. She was a part of this history and was fortunate to have been a survivor.

I think the picture shows what happened in World War 2, the death and destruction. I am very sorry about your father having to be there. Thank you for sharing this picture.

Some programmes disturb but are good for you in the long run. This is like one of those.

I'm very sorry that your Father had to be there to see the real thing.

I would agree with you.
As I stated in the warning section of each shot - This is a capture of a moment in our history. It happened, it can not be changed and here are the results. We need to learn from the past so it doesn't happen again but we don't seem to be too good at that point.
