I remember learning of this in the excellent BBc production, The Great War, which consists of about 44 episodes. After watching all of them a few years back, I felt a real kinship with the struggle.

Oh it sounds familiar but there was a lot of shows pertaining to the Great War when the centenary began a couple years back.

I came these them all at once, you see usually I buy cards from dealers in parcels to save money, so like subjects tend to be clumped together.
