this is how books should be painted, I see way too many books without something written in them

yeah that truly sucks
sometimes when you have an amazing mini and you want to make it look extra special you screw it up.
and then when you wanna do it again the detail looks kinda crappy and its just frustrating

though when I repainted the miniatures I got rid of the old colours first, so it didn´t kill the details

I normally love plastic more than metal, since it´s easy to convert, but for special models Metal is cooler and easier to get the colour of.
I´ve done it on plastic before, but that is hard and disgusting : ( haven´t done that with many models and had to be carefull, since the details can be damaged by that method.

yeah the assembly and such its much easyer with plastic.
but i prefer metals if i can get my hands on them haha.
the paint just flows a bit better on them...not a fan of the finecast models from GW though.
forgeworld finecast is awesome but the GW finecast is terrible quality i dont like it.
yeah i once saw i guy on youtube do plastic models but it looked realy messy indeed

I hate Gw finecast. that felt like pure "we want money" when they released that, ridicolous, without them taking back predamaged miniatures, that would have been the death of their honour.
couldn´t believe what I saw when it first released
my problem was that I had to get all the paint of my scyrah, got an army worth of 640-700 euro (if you count the transport bags too) for 150 euro. And nobody else wanted them, trust me I know exactly why nobody wanted them, but I hate to abandone miniatures.
I hope I´ll never have to get rid of colour on plastic again

indeed those sucked big time.
i got some but try to get metal or plastics if i can...dunno its just crappy quality.
yeah i know what you mean i think its a shame to leave mini's collecting dust even if they are damaged.
and with a little love you can make something of them most of the time

took me 1 montzh doing nothing else but repair them. I didn´t even understood what was used to glue them, was like unbreakable but arms were glued on legs and this type of crazy things
The owner was kind and nice, but he had no idea what he was doing, maybe he was too old i dunno
