yeah i heard they where once stronger...but my friend told me the lords from vampire counts are still among the toughest in the game.
than again they have to be because core sucks big time.
and without a lord the army falls apart thats the major flaw when playing them.

i totaly agree man...why should a ogre not have blood on his armor.
but even why should a clean painted character not have blood on his sword.
surely it kills to like everything else in its army.
but i dont think it should be done with every character.
my army its used on a lot of stuff...but then again its the perfect army for that.
but even then i keep some stuff without it like nagash i would be a shame to smudge him hahaha

ghuls are awesome,
at least in the last armybook

trust me there are armys with way way worse core units,
just becouse chaos warriors have amazing core, doesn´t mean that all of them are, trust me.

on my high elves I´ll not do that since their weapons are magicall and since they are elves I really think that no liquid can stick on a sword,
would imagine something simmilar on some legendary human swords and very old draws weapons, before the war , becouse of elves.

Elves mostly hate anything dirty and try to do something that it isn´t that dirty anymore.

I´ve done it on the orcs I painted, love giving them bloody weapons.

yeah agreed on elves it would look bad...they are clean creatures...only in death can they look bloody i think.
i realy think my core sucks man...okay they are cheap and can be ressurected endlessly but those base stats come on.
but wich army has worse core units then?
my friend has skaven and lizardmen but his core is better than mine.
also i saw these bloodletters the other day...man those stats are awesome and killing blow wtf.
and thats al core

in this order

wood elves core (ok all wood elves are "not that good")
bretonia              (another "I love to suck" army)
highelves             (way too expensive lol, but firststrike wohooo yay....)

and i do know nothing about warhammer chaos deamons
I guess everyone just looks at the op chaos warriors and envys him.

oke i thought that would elves where weak but had high attack but thats not the case then.
first strike is awesome.
i once read that chaos deamons has the best cores...but those are the bloodletters i think

I don´t know much about the most recent wood elves, but this came from eveybody being sad about them.....
They don´t tell anything about them, when I asked the woodelves player just said: "we have our clubrules"

I think first strike isn´t importand if you deal no damage, or not enough to get your costs in.
seaguard of high elves is like that, when skaven come the skaven just lough becouse of the point cost,
when anything else comes you deal nearly no dmg.
I´m not a fan of arrows either.

my highelvs win games becouse of the elite choices, extremely strong and making up for the weak core

my army is crap stat wise...only the lord are okay.
its a difficult army unless you know how to play them right.
but i just think they look cool...thats whats most important to me.
i guess my armys big plus is that you can ressurect almost everything and animate extra units
