Wonderful place, isn't it? It's incredibly inspiring and breathtaking, it makes me really proud to live in England.

Incredible shot, I especially love the dappling the clouds make on the mountains, and how you really get a sense of scale - because when you're up on a peak, you always feel very, very small!

Wow, this looks like I'm flying! I really wish I had wings so I could throw myself into the valley, until the ascending winds catch me and carry me along the stream off into the deep blue sky. I like the shadows of the clouds on the landscape.... as if that makes the land part of the sky. That little stream in the middle of the bottom edge is where you took the other photo?

Thanks. I did continue to walk down and along this valley, but the stream was on the other side of the hill behind me coming up.

If I ever needed a reminder of why this is a wonderful country to live in, this is it, I love the drama of the clouds, the timeless effect of having no modernisation in sight, the idea that this looked the same a thousand years before...
