In October, I took part in a charity event that is held throughout the United Kingdom and in Canada called Charity Week . It's an event where all the University Student Islamic Societies in the UK come together as one and try to raise as much as possible within a week's time for orphans and needy children. About 200+ students showed up to the challenge of hiking to the top of Mount Snowdon which stands 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) tall. The programme ended up raising an international total of £ 593,176.86 ($ 974,961.36)!!!
