Thank you very much. (Though someday I really should add in the clothing textures and fix those huge beads... I want to make it better than it is.) =-w-'=

Ah, I should put this up in the artist's comments, but have you heard of NeoRoma-FanClub ( [link] )? =^w^=

Thanks very much. Though it could use a few improvements here and there. =^w^'=
One thing that I've come to realize as I've been taking Art seriously since I was 12, been a member on dA, and seeing the top notchers and other artists who have better skills than I do, is that I can do any/all of these 3 things:
~ Be jealous of their m4d 5ki112 (on some degree; happened a lot when I was younger). =>3<*=
~ Be inspired by them (happens more often than not in conjunction with the following point). =*A*=
~ Hightail it to your Art weapons of choice, get practicing and aim for their level (if not beyond)!!1 =+_+=
The things that I love the most from the Artists and other Art influences I love out there have been proactively emulated through my style. The expressions executed with that style depend all on my previous practice, the content I want to portray, and of course, me. =ow~=
Uh... Sorry, long comment is loong... =^A^'=

(Sorry, belated response...) Ah, thanks, and you're welcome.
On Bleach: the only thing different from the anime and the manga is that, like most other anime franchises, is that the anime series has filler episodes.
Now the one thing that I've found that's different from Bleach fillers, in comparison to others', is that Kubo Tite designs most of the characters himself but can't fit them into the manga storyline due to time constrictions (the manga comes out weekly and takes priority).
Whether or not, he fleshes out the story himself can be debatable. BUT, this does mean that Bleach fillers can count as Semi-Canon (ie: Ashido & the Zanpakuto ark). =o3~=

You're not too far off.. HaruToki is a lot like Fushigi Yuugi, but there are plenty of differences.
They are both in manga and anime adaptations.. but Haruka Naru Toki no Naka de 1, 2, and 3 also have Otome dating SIM video game adaptations, besides their manga and anime adaptations.
HaruToki 4 was just recently released this last June, and it has a manga series out too.
Btw, the same seiyuu (voice actors) that voice the characters in the anime series, are the same as the ones in the games. 8D
Not to mention, since the company that releases the HaruToki adaptations is having it's 30th anniversary, they created a DS game with most of the characters from HaruToki 1-3. So that means that you can be any one of the 3 miko, AND (hunt/)help 28 lovely bishonen. >D
Though Fushigi Yuugi is barely being released in Japan as a video game. I'm not really sure it they got the same seiyuu either. =o.o'=
With all things considered, I can't help but love HaruToki. =-w-= <3

Wow, you are an expert!
It is interesting how an anime or game can look like others, and at the same time can be quite different...

I'd hope I'd be something after about 10 years of being an Otaku (anime/manga/Japanese vid game geek). That and shortly working for a manga publisher. =>w<=
Yah, no kidding. It could be a good thing, or a bad thing, but it depends.. There's a character called Nue in HaruToki that reminded me a whole lot of FFVII's Sephiroth the first time I saw him. Long white/silver haired bishonen, FTW! XD

I highly recommend getting at least your AA in design and grab some courses in illustration along the way. You'll be a generalized graphic designer with capable illustration skills too. Besides that, practice like mad, retain what you research and learn, and DON'T GIVE UP. =*^*=

Thanks. =-w-=
They're my top faves so far out of all 4 HaruToki series of the games/manga/anime that're out. As a video game it's meant to be an otome (girls/womens)/dating sim game.
So there's lots and lots of eye candy, with character interaction and development mixed in; it holds true to that in the other adaptations too. And if you know anything about NeoRomance stuff, the bishonen do not disappoint. =>w<= <3
Though I doubt you'd get that into this series. XD
Unfortunately, all I really know is the anime from the 1st and 3rd series, as they're most popular and easier to access (with English subs).. Though the 4th series was released earlier this year I think, so not there isn't a lot out on it yet.
Sorry that I babbled so much. =^_^'=

Yeah, while there may (or may not) be a lot of Japanese guys who enjoy playing dating sims, I'd have to sit that round out. It's the wrong team, or something. XD;

Dibei-Chan In reply to TerraForce [2008-08-25 00:40:42 +0000 UTC]
Well, it's understandable. Not too many (straight) gamer boys play ~otome~ games. But on the other hand of dating sims, they're rather popular with the male-types. Then of course you've got games like Ikki Tousen ( ---> [link] ) too. XD
