Winter here in New England is always challenging, but can be very rewarding when it comes to photography. Every few years we experience a large influx of Snowy Owls and they are magnificent to see and photograph. The coastal areas with beaches and dunes are a perfect habitat for this stealthy raptors. I spent yesterday morning hiking the dunes at a local beach looking for photo opportunities with one of these birds. My determination paid off.Related content
