Have you read Transformers Animated: Circle of Destiny? Fills in a lot of plot-points and has elements of other universes in it, but it is really good!

It sounds as if she was intended to end up back on the side of the autobots... whether she switched her faction symbol or not I have no clue. XD

Well, if she has changed back to the Autobots side, just hope Optimus helps become Elita-1 again...

Why isn’t anyone making a fan-comic about Season 4 based on the new info?

I believe the TFNation convention ended doing a quasi-official one... at least if you count the author of the allspark almanac as official. Might be worth checking out!

That doesn’t count because that was released before TFCC Issue 72.

Actually I believe it did, their comic was released in August. Issue 72 seemed to be last December/ January.

No, wait, not 72. 71. That’s it. It was 71. Got mixed up. But did the makers of the comic read that issue is what I’m wondering.

Oh I'm certain they would have! Along with having Jim Sorenson on board from the Allspark Almanac, I'm sure they scrounged through every ancillary material for what went on in the supposed S4; plus other than some specifics, the general elements of the story have been pretty well documented for a while now. I'd say check it out if you can; I remember there being a lot of hype for it both on tfw2005 and twitter with a bunch of official TF artists.

I didn’t go to the TF convention thing (because I don’t have the money for it and it’s not in Australia), so I didn’t get the book. I do wonder if Ironhide and Jazz play a role in the comic and if Ironhide scanned an Earth mode like he was planned to in the comic.

Two things:
1. We could have gotten this if Season 4 was made!
2. Very awesome and fitting of this incarnation of Megatron.

But how season 3 ended felt like a proper ending. The stakes where high, and battle was epic and climatic. And Megatron finally remembered and showed a form of respect to Optimus.

Well, I'm not glad... And many other fans aren't either. But I know that this is far from a perfect world, I'm not delusional to think that they'll bring it back. Fanfiction is good to read as a substitute, but it still won't feel like the official thing.

True. But there comes a time where we have to move on. I managed to move on even with the anger still present. At times it flares up, but I manage to let it out or calm it down. And it is best we move on from it. We can always return to it for nostalgia. But if we dwell on it for too long, we will be unable to go on to see things we might do or like.

Alright. Fair and reasonable. And I respect that. There is a lot wasted potential, but remember, a lot of people where, at first, saying Animated ruined people's childhood. But after it premiered, everyone loved it. And it had its flaws as well. We cannot deny it.
Prime was very good. RiD, feels alright, in spite of its problems (such as Grimlock not being the Grimlock from Fall of Cybertron). But it is an alright follow up to Prime. As for Cyberverse, I understand why people are turned off by it. But I am willing to give it a chance. Plus we get to see more of the fan made transformer, Windblade. And I like her character in RiD. Would like to see more of her in future shows.

Yes, true...many shouldn't have judged the show based on just the first few episodes (I myself thought it had a strong start just as it had a strong showing overall, too, but that's just me). But the flaws the show had were nowhere near as bad as TF shows like RiD and...*cringe* Energon. Anything but Energon... RiD is considerably better than Energon, though still has WAY more problems than just what you mentioned...but I won't go into a rant about RiD now, for the fact that this deviation we are commenting on is Animated related only. The only 'arc' I kinda thought was okay or slightly interesting was the Starscream arc, but his short lived time on the show is one of the many problems RiD has/had (it's ending this weekend, from what I hear). They messed up the other 'big Con' arc, Soundwave, which wasn't really an arc, but only TWO episodes where he appeared throughout the whole show, and both of them were in different seasons. His design was fine, but the way they made him get defeated was PATHETIC and he didn't speak all that clear either. When it came to the returning Cons from Prime, Starscream at least was treated better.
As for Windblade...I don't have a problem with her, but many other fans do (for political reasons or otherwise, perhaps they don't like this 'change' to the formula, or just for the plain fact that they consider her a forced-inserted female Mary-Sue character; I do not believe this about her). I absolutely love her in the IDW comics. I don't see why Hasbro can't make TF shows based on the post-war IDW universe...other than the fact that they seem to just want to stick to the 'Autobot vs. Decepticon war' over and over again because that is what attracts the most child viewers and toy buyers (or so they think ). I watch/read Transformers not for the figures, per say, but for the lore and characters, because it resonates with me. That being said, I'm a young adult who grew up watching a few TF shows during childhood, and I DO own at least one figure (which happens to be Armada Starscream, go figure ).

Very well thought out and said. In the end, we must accept all of the faults of all Transformers incarnations. Energon was defiantly the worst out of all of the shows. I grew up watching Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Animated, and Prime. I feel bad for liking Energon at the time, even more so to own a few of their toys. But I am glad Transformers made it through that bad time. Plus it was nice to see characters like Soundwave, and the Stunticons return to the animation.
Making a story about after the war would be an interesting idea. They might have experimented with this with Rescue Bots. A show that had no focus on the war, and more on how alien robots can live along side humans. Which I liked, and the show was a good way to introduce younger audiences to Transformers without dumbing it down. The fact Cyberverse will focus on the characters and the mythology is just as good. But it can also back fire as well. Heck, there was a chance Transformers might have crashed and burned and never continued past G1. I watched all of the shows and got into the franchise because they where giant robots that transformed. But I stayed because of the story and the characters. Hasbro just might one day make a post war Transformers cartoon, or even a pre war cartoon. After all, another series of Hasbros, MLP G4, got well liked by both males and females. So I have doubts, but my faith in Hasbro is still there.

"In the end, it doesn't even matter..." Lol sorry, but I couldn't help but recite that line from Linkin Park...
Anyways...back to the discussion at hand, you're right. None of the shows are perfect, not even Prime (which everyone now thinks is the best show for TF out there now, but I'm still undecided; not a fan of Starscream's design in that show, among some other things). I'm glad you agree about Energon lol, I don't even consider that a canon sequel to Armada in my mind. I want to block out the bad memories of it... It's fine to like it as a ten year old kid, I myself liked some things back then which we know better nowadays is more or less crap. But the TF shows I grew up on were Beast Wars, Armada, and Animated (pretty much in that actual order, for the most part But I watched BW and Armada around the same time; though most kids at the time didn't know better that Beast Wars was technically Transformers too, because it had characters changing into animals instead of vehicles lol). Then I fell out of the Transformers hype, for a number of reasons...but what happened happened, as we said before. Afterwards, however, I watched Prime about a year ago (some time after I got into Green Lantern the Animated Series, in fact), which meant I got back into Transformers pretty late. But I'm just glad I ever got back into it at all, because now...NOW I have LOTS of things to admire about it lol. Which includes the amazing IDW comics as well >:] But those are a whole other slightly controversial topic all on their own haha.
They've done the 'Machinima online show' of Combiner Wars, but I wasn't a fan of that...except for the Megatron from it lol. Now they're making Titans Return too. But what I mean by post war shows is TV shows only...I feel like it's about time Hasbro releases a MTMTE show or even a show based on the Windblade and Starscream issues. These are all post-war Cybertron, and I feel it's time Hasbro releases a show following a post-war formula like these do. Even if it won't be 'accurate' to these stories they could still be similar. By now, Hasbro realizes there's many older fans in the series, so why not make a darker show, like Prime but more dark, targeted towards our age group? They'd definitely get a much larger following if they did. I don't really want to see humans, per say, but if they do have them too, I would be fine. But I want it to take place many years into the future, and if Earth will be shown...they need to make it technologically advanced. Most likely, it would be advanced thanks to the help of Transformers, and knowledge about TFs would be out in the open too by then (kinda like in Animated).
I'm just, what's the word, 'anxious' maybe for Cyberverse? I don't really know what to say about it...we'll just have to wait and see. But with Bee being the main character again...I'm not really down for that again.
Speaking of 'Transformers might have just crashed and burned'...I know many fans hate them but the Bayformers films actually helped bring many new fans into the series when they came out. I don't hate these movies, but I understand they have big flaws too...but I'm not going to bash them like everyone seems to be doing so generously. Because I realize they brought the series back to life. And in a big scale way.
I'd definitely be down with a 'pre war' show as well! Anything, really, but not the same war stuff over and over again (or at least not for a long while).
I haven't lost faith in Hasbro either, but...some of the things they've got planned for future stuff is...questionable, to say the least :/ Not a fan of MLP though, but I get what you mean with the gender demographics. Transformers actually has a big female following, regardless of what many fan boys may think.

Indeed. Everything you say is true. I only got into Beast Wars after I saw and got anniversary toys of Optimus and Megatron. It got me curious and so I watched the episodes. And I truly love them. Makes me wish Hasbro acknowledge it more and do a proper anniversary line. Like with Generations, do a pure Beast Wars line, featuring the all of the characters that appeared. Along with versions of them before they gained their beast modes.
A darker transformers series for the older fans is a good idea. As there are several third party toy makers that make the characters in the comics or toys of characters from the shows or games that never got one from Hasbro. Combiner Wars was bad, and for me, the one good thing was seeing both old and new combiners make an appearance. But your right, there is a market for fans of transformers that are grown up. As for any humans making appearance. It is very touchy, but if they would include humans, they better be written like real people like in Prime. Seeing the stores from the IDW comics would be interesting to see. As there are characters from the comics I found interesting.
As for the Baformers. I admit, I use to like the films. But I also admit they did get people interested in Transformers. Heck, after the first movie, Animated was the first cartoon that wasn't a Japanese import, since Beast Wars and Beast Machines. In fact I have little interest in the films now, but still a transformers fan.
Overall. Whatever comes next for Transformers, Hasbro, and their other properties, I wish them the best of luck.
