I kept seeing this in my inbox as I was raking my way through polls and news and journals and whatnot and I almost could not wait to get to this The mood is so strong and captivating that it was all I could do to not keep thinking about it.

The thing is though, it doesn't really feel free, rather, sadly, the opposite. To me it seems like there's a gigantic pane of glass separating the figure and the cityscape beyond. And the lingering sunset, as well as the flock of birds, simply accentuates the slow, torturous sense of longing.
