When I was young I spent alot of time by Lake Michigan, my Grandma's house was right up the hill from it...
and it has always had a dreamy magic for me... I would
dream of a place between the worlds which was half the beach by Lake Michigan, and half something out of The Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis. When I would wake I would see/feel pieces of that world, yet something always elusive. Your pic has a similar feeling to it..

I don't go back to Wisconsin (thats where I was talkin bout) as much as I used to...My Mom's family was there
when I was younger, thats where she grew up... So when I was little we would go every summer. Now its every few years or so. The place still has a power for me, I think alot of it is, I like in NYC, where things are constantly changing, and while things change there too, its on such a slower level... So the places that have stayed the same have such a power to them.

owh...interesting. And the world is so strange...I also have such a place, powerful, magic. It's in the country where my grandpa lives. Our big house is decaying slowly (and it hurts me), but still I can fill the pure magic in the air. There are some small lakes, a river and a big forest *_*

Everytime I go back to the area i was telling you about,
and see some change, even little, it hurts a bit...

not very often...may be twice a year or so. It's quite a remote place and I have no time for frequent visits -_-
