This photograph really worked for me. Cosplay aside, it is a good image - pretty, pensive girl in a cold, inhospitable setting. I was immediately drawn into the scene. The setting establishes a strong mood - the ruin in Winter, the cold brick wall, the iron fence, the snow on the ground. I also liked the outfit - interesting textures, colors appropriate to Winter, practical design but still short enough to show her beautiful legs. I liked the way you posed her kneeling on the ground - her bare knee on the cold snow; it is a powerful image. Technically, the photograph is just about perfect - well-composed and exposed, with good sharp focus exactly right for the subject matter.
I am relatively new to Deviant Art. In the past few days, I have looked at several thousand photos. This is one of only about six that I put on my favorites list. (Your White Wrist is one of the others. It too is good, but I like this one better.) Thanks to you and Tora and Kana for sharing.
