Description
Driving through Central Kalahari, we came across a male ostrich courting a female. Soon after this shot was taken, another male joined in and they danced in triplicate. Eleven females stood nearby, all looking a bit baffled and quite jealous. Okay, so I'm anthropomorphizing... but the look on the face of the female on the far left (looking towards the courting ostriches) is priceless.Related content

This is a fantastic shot. Popping that sky giving the birds themselves a little dodge&burn would make it even better.

I have to confess I have mixed feelings about ostriches... Cool birds (if a bit on the stupid side), but a bit iffy to work with. I've had the unfortunate experience of being pinned in a corner by an aggressive female ostrich while she tried to smash me into the ground. :/ I was unscathed but it was still not very fun.
