i like what you did with this pic, but the only thing i can think of as far as critique goes is where his feet are...i dont know if its the shadows or what but it doesn't feel like he's standing on solid ground...

as far as the mane and tale goes, i love the texture!!!!! makes me feel like i can run my fingers through his hair ^^

It could be a photograph! Love the background blur.

No critique here; it's nice and simple and just fine how it is.

This is gorgeous,brillaintly cut, the gradual blurring of the background to bring attention to the horse simply beautiful!

However the mane could do with some work, for the mane being so long its very unnatural for it all to be the same length and makes it look a bit odd. You could draw a rough straight line along you manes tips.

Secondly the brightness of the forground rocks doesnt seem to be in keeping with the darkness and contrast of the horses legs. They just appear a little bright :]
