Haha, very funny! The 'party' pun + Soviet Russia gag + hilarious artwork make this full of Epic Russian Fun!! The combinations of Socialist leaders + their different party-bodies is just perfect - esp. Marx and Lenin (Vlad seems to think Karl's party-policies are a little too spiritual - lol) Stalin is, of course, the loner standing off to the side, looking rather amused at the antics of the others.

...the one thing I would change (and this is very, very small) is put an exclamation point after ...the party can always find you[!] to make it a sharper punchline. Otherwise, this is perfect!

Well, I think it's funny, historically accurate or not.

P.S

I think people commenting on the "historical accuracy" of art should just stop. This site is DeviantArt not History Channel. (just putting that out there)

You must understand, that Russia and Soviet Union are not the same things. Even in Soviet times. That's the only thing, I can't agree on this pic. Learn history better))

P.S.: Stalin was russian?))

I wasn't saying that, I was just saying that Russia was in the Soviet Union and that there was a Soviet Party , hence the phrase "Soviet Party" Go get a sense of humour, seriously. If you didn't understand the soviet russia jokes reference then you shouldnt've commented in the first place. It's just a joke anyway and shouldn't be taken as a historically accurate piece of information.

P.S. Yes Stalin was even the leader of Russia at one point! Are you sure it is I who needs to learn their history "better"?

)) i'm russian, i should know my history.
I understand the joke, but even a joke must be correct with facts. I think so.

I think this joke has more to do with the misconception that most non-Russian countries have about old Russia than with the real facts.
Soviet Russia is like a myth which is over-exaggerated in these jokes ... at least I think so ...
sorry for intruding the discussion...

The Soviet Union was comprimised of Russia, and a series of buffer states.
Therefore any country within that union would be soviet, i.e Soviet Hungary or...
SOVIET RUSSIA.

2 on the back are not from Soviet Russia)) Aaand... There was no such country like Soviet Russia. It'll be much better, if you say Soveit Union, or somekinda that)

First off the party was hosted by the Soviets, therefore it's a Soviet Party, and second.. Does it really matter? I never said it was a country did I? (:

In the times when Russia was the Soviet Union - When I say the Soviet Union I do because the head was in Moscow.
