Ha, not a big fan of that series is all. Jason's cool and all, but I find these guys to be much more effective in their own series. But, to each his own.

For sure! I think The Fly and John Carpenter's The Thing are the two best remakes ever made. Good homages to the originals, but actually did new things with the stories and characters .

Thanks! It's definitely among the best and it certainly holds my vote for most unique movie monster ever. There's been shameless ripoffs of it of course, but there's never been anything quite like it, past or present. I really can't imagine how shocking it was in the late 70s, all monsters up until that point were more on the goofy side, intentionally or not. So when the Alien came around, it must've been truly unimaginable to say the least.

My friend you are so right in everything, and respect to the alien, the thing the I love the most, is the lack of eyes, I think this is the most disturbing and awesome thing.

Oh, for sure. The Lack of eyes coupled with its still very humanoid body-shape, make for a very unnerving design. Based on its body and movements, you'd think it was capable on some kind of thought, but the eyelessness makes it seem robotic or completely animalistic and in turn, utterly non-relatable and unsympathetic.

Awesome work!! I love it!! Still haven't seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Hellraiser, but I'll have to check them out now!

The first two Hellraisers are at least worth a watch. The demon designs in them are great, really unlike anything else, but I do wish that they were a bit better as films. Not bad, but not amazing.
Texas Chainsaw on the other hand is truly a masterpiece, definitely in my top 5 horror films ever made, sitting in the ranks with Alien, The Thing, The Shining and Silence of the Lambs.
