Description Two sides,
One World,
Two balances.
I am Day,
I am Night,
Sisters,
Enemies,
One Soul
Two Powers,
One Purpose.

Hio all.
This is my submission for the "Opposites" Contest being held by .
This was by far the most involved piece I think I have ever done in such a short time. I think all in all this took me about 3 hours to do over the span of two days. The Background was the hardest, it was difficult to get the four elements as I wanted them to come out, but i think in the end, i should listen to my computer more and my brain less.
Here is how I saw the elements playing out.
Darkness has Water and Air, but elements that are considered the Ying.
Light has Fire and Earth, two elements i more associate with yang.
So yeah,
Please, tell me what you think and any idea you have for improvement.

I was trying to base it off the Tao, which is where the yingyang comes from.

Very nice, I like the partial symmetry of the image, and how it keeps each side somewhat similar but although really different.

You are correct .. for everything there is an opposite, an equal, or those are my beliefs. This piece is FANTASTIC .. no one need guess what you mean by it, it's right there smacking you and screaming out it's meaning. Very well done!

I plan on working on a few contest pieces and be sure I will be looking through your stock to see what I will need, the piece i got from you was a life saver, i had this huge ugly dividing line before I found the column.
