Is Foreigner a movie? I really like this character from your picture, it's similar to one I created long time ago.

Thanks so much. Foreigner is an original game concept that I'm developing, however, I'd definitely think it would be cool as a movie too.Ā

The basic premise is a space opera following Rick Lonestar, an ageless pilot drifting alone through a politically fractured galaxy over the course of several lifetimes. He is joined later by an engineer and a scientist, who accompany him from world to world, as Rick attempts to uncover the truth behind his longevity and move on from everything he left behind.
Donovan is the primary antagonist, and the self-made monarch of the Galactic Union. He leads a parallel storyline to Rick's concerning 'eternal life,' and may or may not possess some of those answers.Ā

Donovan is the character from this picture, I presume? What do you mean by "sevaral lifetimes"?
I liked this story, very creative, his immortality reminded me of Aya Brea's, the main character from the Parasite Eve games.

Absolutely. Time dilation in reference to interstellar travel and genetic modification make Rick and Donovan a few Earth centuries old by the time we meet them, which is what I was referring to by 'several lifetimes.' However, because of this, both will appear to be in their mid thirties to early forties.
Thanks so much. I'll have to check out Parasite Eve, it sounds interesting.Ā

So they have not only suffered from genetic modification, which makes them live longer but they can also travel through time and space? Am I right?
Well Parasite Eve is very different from your story, the only thing similar is the longevity of those characters, then again, if I was to compare your story to something else I think the Doctor Who series are much more similar, the main character there is immortal, travel to different worlds in the galaxy and also have an arch enemy which is immortal just like him.
You are welcome, this character is like so so similar to the one I created, even his hands gestures and the building like background remind me of my story, however the plot of yours is a lot different than mine, my story is focused on religion, taboos and the end of the world, and there are two female main characters and one male, I'm planning to make it as an rpg, not a movie because the story is too complex and it's hard having more than one main character in a movie, only if it was something like Kill Bill with more than one movie to tell the story.

That's correct. Rick has had his DNA modified so he can live long enough to pilot a ship towards the outer reaches of the galaxy, as he will be transporting cryo-frozen passengers for the Galactic Empire to colonize newly discovered planets. Donovan's reason is different, but the procedure will be identical.Ā
The initial inspiration actually came from Torchwood and Doctor Who, believe it or not.Ā
Sounds interesting. I definitely agree on the RPG format, often a sprawling epic takes more than one movie to accomplish.Ā

It's more or less in progress. Right now, I'm figuring out the logistics of the science and character motivation, which I'm slotting into the primary narrative arcs I want the tale to follow. It's kind of a jumbled package of events that I'm sorting, ordering and connecting. I'm writing in novel format right now, so I can articulate character voice in a way that feels more 'natural' to me, but I'm planning to do the rewrite in a screenplay format. It's probably an overly convoluted process, but it makes sense to me I guess.Ā
I hear that! That would be the absolute coolest.Ā

Never fear, he only has two. His right leg is raised, so the way the light catches on the inner thigh is making it visually separate from the lower leg and appear as if the leg is bending in both directions. The actual shape of the right leg is sort of a sideways '7.' I hope that clears that up.

I'm afraid it's a different Hegemon, however, I certainly drew inspiration from Orson Scott Card's writing. However, that's not necessarily saying I'm averse to the idea of making an Ender universe piece in the future.Ā

Peter Wiggin/Ender's Game was definitely part of the initial inspiration for this piece, I'm stoked you spotted that. Big fan of the books.

The lighting here is really nice, and the whole thing obviously looks really good. His suit looks more drawn than his skin, but I don't think that makes it worse or anything! Good job~
