Look at it in two options. Option 1: If Zim really does care for Gaz, he'll probaly forget the whole "invade and conquer earth" and be happy with her. Or option 2 on the other hand: Zim will persude Gaz to joining him in his invasion and together they turn earth into a big pile of nothing and live with each other for the rest of they're happy evil lives, might even replace his idiot android with her.
