Maybe come kind of pail colored background and strong light from the bottom could emproove the overall image

I had thoughts about adding a background to it, but I just liked the contrast between her light face and the dark background (ok maybe it's too contrastive, I don't know...). The strong light that you mention, I think that it would have been quite complimentary to the smaller light sources on the branches and it'd have created a more intense and creepier mood to the drawing, so that is a good suggestion, but that would require major changes on the drawing (shades, highlights...) and I'm too lazy for that...hahaha

Wow, I finally found another artist that uses a Trust tablet and not a Wacom like everybody else! hehe...

I'll keep that in mind next I submit a drawing to ...
