That's right, they never did say what happened to the Botany Bay. I would've thought the Enterprise should've towed it to a starbase (because it had some historical value), but I guess it got forgotten amongst the more pressing problems Khan posed.

Nice, I like the rustic look of the Botany Bay. Not sure how it'd rust in space, but it still suits it

davemetlesits In reply to JamieTakahashi [2008-03-26 23:48:27 +0000 UTC]

Thank you. I don't think it's rusty, it's just being hit by ome meteorites and stuff.

JamieTakahashi In reply to davemetlesits [2008-03-27 00:00:11 +0000 UTC]

yeah, I forgot about that. I also forgot that rust could result from chemical reactions between the hull and any gaseous anomalies it encountered, or even chemicals present in the hull itself.

Nice. I see you augmented the scene when Khan and his augments abandon the Botany Bay in Space Seed.

Don't worry James T., will take the Enterprise back and set the events for Star Trek II the wrath of Khan.
Just received the Director 's Edition of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. It was different, you finally get to see more of V'ger's ship
