Thank you. The wings were actually easy. I created a very simple ZSphere chain for the wings without any nodes and they sort of turned out this way. I did move some of the polys around on the low-poly mesh to make them a little bit lenghtier, but over all very simple.

For some reason, it is almost reminiscent of the strange creatures described in Stephen King's Dark Tower series to me.
It's believably alien, too.

I never read the Dark Tower series, but now that you mentioned it, I might check it out. H.P. Lovecraft has been my main inspiration.

It's a great series. There are many parts throughout it where I was able to detect where King was heavily influenced by HPL. It's a good read.

I would say the head size would be about 2 feet long to give you an idea of the general size.
