It has very nice Lovecraftian feel to it. There's a nice fleshiness that's a bit lacking on the wings. The wing in the forground in particular doesn't have the skin looking stretched as it should. Even slightly extended the skin should look fairly taunt, like batwings.

Anyway, my skills are nowhere near yours (not that I do 3d) and I really love this model. I hope what I had to say was helpful.

I completely agree with your critiques because I actually haven't gotten to fleshing out the wings the way I want to yet. That wrinkle texture you see on there was a test to see what it would look like. The skin of the wing will be taught and stretched when I get her done.
I love bats also and I have a good amount of reference that I'm planning to draw from. It will have a raised veiny membrane going over it and will be slightly translucent when I get it in photoshop.
