*Trenderhoof follows AJ to behind the Boutique*
"A secret rendezvous? Applejack, I must protest-"
"Okay, just stop right there a second. Trenderhoof, ya seem like a nice guy and all, and Ah don't wanna hurt ya..."
*Trenderhoof goes down to his knees in a begging position*
"Please Applejack! Don't discard me so quickly! Please! Allow me to prove my devotion to you!"
*AJ looks at him disdainfully* "Oh brother..."
"I am a writer after all! I could serenade you with my beautiful poetry..."
"Trender-"
*He interrupts* "Or I could woo you with a dazzling love ballad..."
*AJ clearly growing impatient* "Trender-"
"Of course, I would need accompanying musical and vocal assistance, but that could be arranged if necess-"
*AJ is outright pissed off now* "TRENDERHOOF!"
*This gets his attention and he quiets down*
"Ah need ya to listen, and Ah need ya to listen good! Ah'm only gonna tell ya this once!"
*He listens, intimidated into silence*
"Ah'm a fillyfooler okay? Ah. Like. The. Girls. Ah ain't interested in what ya got to offer. Ah didn't think Ah had to spell it out fer ya that much."
*Trenderhoof gapes* "So... that means you don't-"
"Eenope."
