Aquarelle, huh? You know...I can see that,now that you pointed it out. For this, I tried a few different this. I turned down the opacity on my brush, then after I painted it I went over everything with both the burn tool and the dodge tool. Then I dashed some of the sharpen tool here and there so that it gives it some pop.
