So I haven't died! I've just been crazy busy!

Thanks! I definitely didn't attempt this one as my first crochet project for that reason. You can get lost on your stitch count very easily with the wrong yarn. I found cotton is 10x easier to work with than acrylic. I always lost my stitches in acrylic...

No problem! If you're like me, you'll never go back to acrylic after you start using cotton.
