Gorgeous! Do you think you could draw Disney princesses as ballerinas? I love your style!

wonderful! the outfit works, way to instill some practicality in the piece, yet still retain freshness.
good work on the expression and pose!

As much as I enjoy outragousness if something doesnt make sense or work, it bothers me. I like things to be interesting but at the same time technical, ifthat makes sense lol.
Thank you very much!

Lovely! I designed a similar outfit for the clockwork ballerina in the animated video I'm work on, but more asymmetrical and no ostrich feather, and no pintucked bib. haha, so maybe not that similar after all!

it's absolutely lovely, like all your designs/artwork.
is it olive green? you've been using a lot of that colour lately. is it your favourite, concidering it's mostly used in classic lolita styles anyway?

Lol thank you!
its kind of like a pearly olive mint? I dont know it says celadon green on the marker i think.
I was wondering when someone would bring that up. Its definitely one of my favourite colours and the only one of my markers that works for what I do. All of my markers are really typically coloured like neons and brights and stuff and dont work for what Im trying to acheive so Im kind of stuck with it haha.

It does look nice for classic styles. Do you care for Sweet styles or Hime/Rococo at all?
Haha. Neon would not fly for Lolita, not even if Lady Gaga endorsed it.

Yea it does.
Um I do like sweet styles but I like the older ones like old Angelic pretty. Im not a fan of the over the top pastels and really busy prints.
I like more simple stuff suprisingly, and Im not into deco.
I do like rococo stuff though!
haha no, its just weird though that neon cupcake dress AP made went over pretty well.

Yeah, the old-school sweet is great. These cupcake hats and things are ridiculous, and so is deco. AP is a little strange, but most of baby's things are still tolerable.. man, i haven't checked in a long time!
BodyLine even used to have lovely things until punk took over.

Definitely. The old AP was nice. I liked their shapes and designs and I especially liked their fall designs in red or black.
I like Baby, but I feel like their construction is weird. Sometimes the waist sits funny and they tend to put elastic in their JSK straps and its uncomfortable haha. Ive only had one dress though.
But I agree they are still more tolerable.
Now Im more into Innocent world.
haha thats true!

Once again, you prove to me why I have you on my watch list. Wonderful work.
Can I make a suggestion on taking photos of small objects? Get a big lamp shade from home depot and light it from a couple places outside. Cut a hole for the camera lens then take a photo w/o using flash. That way you don't get that glare on your beautiful work.

Itβs a cheap, fast pseudo-photographerβs light box. The idea is to provide diffuse light from all directions to eliminate shadows and glare. The lamp shade diffuses the light rather than providing bounce light like in the example light box. The hole is so you can get another angle to photograph objects rather than just top down. When you cut the hole, make it a flap so you can tape the flap back in place when you donβt need it.
This is a more formal one made from foam core [link] The reason for bouncing the light off surfaces is it mostly eliminates glare, reduces the harshness of the light and provides a more even light over an area. If you see portrait photographers set up in malls, those umbrellas with flashes pointed in them provide bounce light for those reasons.
Honestly, I have a tiny umbrella that I rubber band to my big photo flash just for that reason. It provides a less harsh light. Things donβt look like theyβre under a big search light in my photos.

Ah, now I get it.

Thank you very much!
