Very original... *_*

And I must say... It is very nicely coloured - and very clean! Love how nothing overlaps.

Does the frame have a glass covering?

:] thank you very much!!

yep, i wanted to make sure that all the peices would be protected. cause there are 3 peices, the ribbon, the picture itself and the polka dot paper. :W

That's good~~ I was afraid that there was no covering at all~ Haha

yea that wouldnt be good.
it really depends on what youre looking for and the price of the frame. its usually $15+

Wow, that's actually a bargain o_o Well, if many people ask you for comissions, then... *mumbles* *starts counting numbers*

Well, Devi - the numbers are starting to flow, eh~? XD

I commented on egl but when I saw this here too I just had to tell you how beautiful it was again!
I love the detail of the ribbon. You mentioned you were waiting for markers, may I ask what kind you use? I've been wanting to try some out, I usually stick to water colours but I think it's time for a change!

:] thank you!
I use prisma markers (The double tip with the wide and fine tips) and i usually buy them seperately cause its expensive and i dont always use all the markers in the packs. like good lolita colours like deco pink deco blue mint cream etc.. and brick beige makes a better skin than sand does... or deco peach.

Ah yes, prisma are one of the brands I've been considering. I'm not sure how expensive they are where you are but in Australia they retail for around $12 each so I think I'll be saving my pennies and abstaining from brand for a while before I can afford some! I will keep an eye out for the colours you mentioned though, thanks for replying

12$?!?! thats INSANE whether AUD or USD thats nuts. I thought they were expensive here but 12$ beats 3$ any day. If you want, i would be more than willing to pick up some for you if you give me a list of colours you want (maybe pay for a couple myself as a gift ) and ship em to you, it might be cheaper. Cause thats completely unfair...no other marker compares, even copic! You should be able to get some.

Oh wow that would be so nice thank you! I'll have a look at their website and pick out some colours! I'd love to make you something little as as buying you a couple of the markers. I'm a professional seamstress so if you can think of a Lolita accessory you'd like I can make it for you

Man art supplies over here are ridiculously expensive, then again pretty much everything in Aus is a rip off compared to the US. My partner is from America and he's constantly comparing prices, it's so weird to think how much difference there is!

i wouldnt go to their websites but just like american craft sites like [link] < Oh gosh thats so kind~!

its so true! My grandma went there just a couple months ago and was telling me about the prices and it was just blowing my mind.I know huh! Its weird!

Oh sweet thanks I was at my art store yesterday and I happened to luck upon a bunch of them in their throw out bin for $1! Best day ever!

All of them were variations on Rose but at least I'll be able to have a go and decide if I like them! I'm still definitely interested in a shopping service though after I've given them a try.
Have you thought about what sort of accessory you'd like, I'd be happy to make and send it off as soon as I've got a free commission spot because you've been so kind!

Wow thats awesome! I wish that would happen here.

i hope you like them, theyre really cool cause you can go over the same colour a couple times and it will shade for you, and theres a blending pen :]
Umm probably an alice bow ( im so unoriginal.XD) But you dont have to worry about it.

DarkDevi In reply to ElectricMayhem [2008-01-14 23:37:52 +0000 UTC]

i used prisma markers and coloured pencils, and for the shine (white spots) i used some random white marker.

ElectricMayhem In reply to DarkDevi [2008-01-15 19:36:19 +0000 UTC]

there's a white marker that goes over the top of other markers?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DarkDevi In reply to ElectricMayhem [2008-01-15 21:48:00 +0000 UTC]

yep.. theyre like a buck usually and you can find them in the marker section or stationary section at like michaels and joanns and therye sold as sepeates and they dont come in any plastic casing or anything just in those little cubby boxes they usually keep seperate prismas and sharpies in.
