Description
First off, the great karmacursed has left us for some time, so myself (summerglow) and metalmistress are filling in.
So, I just thought I'd let you all know of that. While things are changing, if anyone has any suggestions and whatnot to voice might as well now while the convenient time is still around. Secondly, contest ideas. Since this month is coming to an end then I suppose we should get cracking on some ideas for next month's contest. I apologize for the lack of one this month, but there was some confusion on how things were running because of the lack of the old director. Back to the contest ideas, give some, comment on some, whatever you like. Try and steer away from things that have already been done and cliched topics.

I'm gonna miss karmacursed, not that I don't welcome you as our new director, just I'll miss him. You and MetalMistress? What a pair! We're in good hands then. As for contests, no ideas. How about a referencing poetry piece to a famous poet from the past, like Edgar A. Poe or something.

Recovering the dead from the battlefield, Fighting insanity, Cult killings, or random mutilations. I've got a couple more, but that's all I'll share.
Oh well I'm off to afganistan now. Hopefully Ill be back, alive and in one piece.

suggestion for new master aye? off topic of contest i think it would be interesting to do a collaborated poem amongst the group or perhaps if only some are interested that could work as well. as well possibly interviews of the artists (either random or contest winners, or the first one to suggest

What about a contest dedicated to great dark poets? Someone would write a poem about, relating to, paying homage to, or praising their favorite dark poet in any way...
I dunno though, I just thought it would be cool to look into the great works of others (perhaps of the past), and maybe inspire others to read their works. If it's dumb, whatever, just a suggestion.

a contest idea?
Heres an idea, how about we get a picture from a wonderful artist and have people write their own poetry or prose on it and then pick the best.

i have a great friend ~thevoices she has amazing artwork espeically a pice called fallen. Im sure if i ask her, she'll agree to it, have a look through her gallery and tell me what you think.
