Hey, I'm thinking of starting a webcomic called "Teeth" and I was wondering if you guys could help me spread the word! It's all going to be based off of group writers, so that's why I'm contacting you. Short horror stories or scripts (about 20 pages or less) with the theme of teeth. Both writers and artists are needed, although I can do the art myself.

Hi Kwazo: I might have a solution. My name is Roxie and I am an artist here at DA. I own a company called Metal Sky, we publish graphic novels in the following genres: Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy, etc. I came here looking for material and talent, which I am sure some of your members have. My editor is amazing with years and years of experience and publishers and he can offer opportunity to those writers who have meaty stories for us to turn into graphic novels. We are new and need plenty of material to go through. My editor will do 2 things for your group, the fact that a real editor for a graphic novel publisher is involved with you will greatly increase interest in your group and the possibility of real opportunity will most likely put this group to the top of DA. I wanted to run this by you first before I suggest this. I also have a Metal Sky Group which is being created at the moment. There will be posts of up coming novels, artists and writers. This group would help with the writing and provide a place for the writers to go to in one central location. Would the above suggestion be of interest to you? I would enjoy joining...just having acquired deviantART a few days ago I haven't posted my best writing, and unfortunately my computer crashed a month ago and I lost ALL of my previous files. Now I use my dad's computer where I have a minimal amount of poetry saved. I mostly specialize in Haiku...although other rather short lyrical poetry also. So who should I send this to? Who is TDW? I plan to be an active member...and if you would inform me whether to send my poetry to you or someone else...that'd be great! Otherwise, simply check out my deviantART and I have some works on it already. Thanks a bunch!

Hmmm, I wonder if this is still going forward? Ah, don't we all tend to lean towards the darkside? Apparently, they ALWAYS have cookies- and better ones too! I guess that's why most people have a fascination with the rather dark aspects of writing- it can be so simple yet somehow dramatic as compared to the lighter writings. Though they can be both as impactful. My interest pikes at this project, I do hope you guys are heading forward- it's an interesting angle for any writing competition of the sorts, and obviously fascinates people no end. The current(?) staff recruiting makes my fingers itch to type. Heh.
