I drew this last year after I watched Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla II for the first time. I thought Rodan was such a noble yet tragic character, courageous in front of far mightier enemies (MechaGodzilla) yet unable to comprehend that Baby Godzilla had rejected him in favour of his real father. I tried to get that feeling of loss into him.Related content
