Think of all the poor souls slowly being digested by the sarlacc that'll finally be put out of their misery.

Of all the monsters that didn't appear in a star wars movie...this. >_<

Really? Krayt dragons prey on sarlacc?

Indeed they do. One of the old Legends setting guides, The Wildlife of Star Wars, has an illustration of a greater krayt digging up aΒ sarlacc to eat. I guessΒ sarlaccs can't do much to creatures they can't swallow whole.

It's almost impossible to imagine, i mean this is pretty much proportional and in KOTOR (Great Game BTW) that canyon Krayt Dragon dwarfs the player by a large margin, and then you have this monster of a dragon carrying off a sarlacc (which if anyone else saw the original 3 SW movies) is just un-friggin believable.

Take THAT sarlacc!

Is that really what a Sarlacc looks like? I see the "head" is identical to what I've seen, but I'm unfamiliar with the rest of the body since last I checked it only showed the mouth and insides of the creature on Wookiepedia. Know where I can see the full Sarlacc like in this pic?

Hi. If you look at the Greater Krayt Dragon article on wookiepedia, I think there is a picture of a dragon digging and dragging a sarlaac out of its burrow

Well, with the pics I see on the article now, all I see is a Greater Krayt like this: [link]
A Greater Krayt attacking a red Canyon Krayt Dragon, and what is possibly a greater krayt dragon skeleton from one of the original films. Nothing there about it digging a Sarlacc up it seems.

See this scan [link] from a Star Wars Creature book. The image is to the right of the skeleton.

Interesting fact: Apparently the sound Obi-Wan makes in episode 4 is that of a krayt mating call o.o

Also not to seem nitpicky but don't canyon krayts have a two-pronged tail?

Their appearance varies according to which videogame they are featured :/

Hmm well I dunno, wookipedia made it sound like it's a standard but that's probably true too, quite often creatures in different games/movies and such differ, so I'm sure Krayt's are no different

Well, I kind of based mine on the one appearing in Bounty Hunter (the only SW video game I played featuring a Krayt)

Hmm, heard of bounty hunter but never played it myself. So you've never played KOTOR then? o.o

Neat Picture, both creatures look quite impressive. Such a creature would have to be quite large to drag off a Sarlacc like that, unless that Sarlacc is not full size. Are those Dragons supposed to be related, because it would seem odd one would have 4 legs while the other has 10. Of course, I am only basing this off of Earth biology, alien ones could have related species with great differences like that.

I got most of my info from "wookiepedia", the Star Wars Wiki.

Okay, but that doesn't really answer my questions though. Or are you saying you can't? Is that supposed to be a full sized Sarlacc and the Dragons are that big, or is that Sarlacc not so full sized?
If you want me to find out for myself, could you at least give me a link to where I can look?

It is a full sized sarlacc. The greater krayt dragon is supposed to be the largest lifeform on tatooine.
