Cyrene was given a special audio cassette that contained subliminal sound waves that would drain energy from humans, and was sent to Jam Records to replace a master tape in the recording studio with it.
Her powers included the use of razor sharp, expandable claws and the ability to transport herself by either teleportation or turning herself into a swarm of bats flying towards her destination."

They're coming on okay so far, but I think they would look better either with realistic shading or thicker outlines (which would complement the cell-shaded style better). I'll admit I'm something of a hypocrite here, but at least on my flat-shaded stuff I do the outlines thick. Saying that, this one in particular works quite well what with the amount of black in it.
Getting decent-looking shading isn't that hard, I find. Get the airbrush tool, pick a brush with soft edges and a colour that's the same hue but with a value and saturation depending on what you want to achieve, and mess about until you get something you're happy with. Hope that helps

Since there are more than 200 of them to do, and I am planning to finish by the year 2009 (with school, work and everything), I thought I don't want for the drawings to be realistic afterall. In the actual anime, where I took them from, they don't have shadows at all (or some).. so for now I'll keep them simple and bold... : )
